Unlike factory, GDP's front output shaft is constructed of industry leading 300M and then heat treated for a precise blend of strength and longevity. To ensure ultimate strength, this material and heat treat combination endured rigorous field and torque testing. How do you know if yours is broken? Breakage is most commonly caused by a high-stress torque event that generally happens when the front wheels are off the ground spinning and when the machine hits the ground a burst of torque is sent through the output shaft. You'll most commonly hear a loud noise that is associated with the snapping of the shaft.
